I am always on the lookout for good PA books. If they also have a dogs in them, that is always a plus for me. While I am much older than the intended audience, I thought this novel was very interesting. Well-written with very good character depth. It is a rather depressing book, so I'd not recommend it for younger readers. As a former teacher, I'd suggest it for students 15 or older. Will look into other books written by this author as I like to keep up with what children/young adults are reading these days.

I really enjoyed the book "The Last Dog on Earth." It was very hard to put down. Definitely recommend it as a short read filled with mystery, fun, sad, and relatable to life.
This is a good book. I bought it for my daughter for school and ended up reading it as well. Written for teens but it has a good story and was very enjoyable.
So heart warming, so sad, I laughed and cried. I know this was a kids book but man it touched my heart and made me hug my dogs a bit tighter. It was a fantastic tale that I hope never happens but it makes me think that we really need to be careful in this world and not mess with the balance of nature because untold sadness can happen.
Enjoyed this little story about a boy and his dog. And a father and his dog. And a father and son.
This is a favorite childhood book of mine! It's the first book I struggled to put down and the first book to bring me to tears (I was 10 mind you), so I will always have a soft spot for this story. The only reason I omitted one star is because the book I received is falling apart...
It had been years since I last read this book. It is an endearing tale of a boy and his dog defying the odds. With so many misadventures, how can you not fall in love with it? I remember reading probably shortly after its publication, and I searched for so long just to find it again. This book to me, is perfect. There is nothing like it, I will probably re-read it several times in my lifetime!
I just finished this book and I couldn't really put it down after I started reading it. I finished it in a day. It was an easy read, and it left me a bit emotional at the end. The only concept that confused me is *SPOILER* at the end when the doctor says it's Logan's actions that means everyone can love their dog safely or something. But they said Jack was the last dog on earth. So that was a bit confusing.
